I found music a very unfeminine space to be in and so accepting this type of femininity has been an interesting and challenging experience for me. I found it hard to accept, "Okay I can be strong, feminine and soft. Make sure you take care of yourself and don't diminish yourself." It was quite enjoyment to dress in heels, an outfit, and wear soft curly hair every single day. This was extremely stressful as I'm not as old as the other actors [in Fantastic Beasts]; there was a lot of stress. There was this unsettling impression during the auditions that there was an immense power behind me. I may either fall under the weight and break down because of how much I wanted it and the magnitude of it or climb over the the top and let it push me up. It is possible to spend the whole day walking around taking in coffee shops, museums and parks. In LA, but London's Tube is right in the centre of all the action. Each human being you could imagine is visible. I am awestruck by individuals. Being from the world of music, I'm constantly surrounded with males. It's like being with men is intimate. The books were a wish that came true for myself. I've read a few of the titles on tour which is really wonderful to have this kind of universe that one can retreat to in the midst of a tour, you're constantly going from one city to the next but it's also quite disorientating, and then going to the most vivid, vibrant universe sleeping in my bed at night is really quite lovely.
