Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid film critic who reviews Z-graded films typically in the horror and martial arts genres. Her style of review and methodology are similar to that of The Cinema Snob. However she prefers to review crappy action movies and has a fascination with the morbid. The reviewer began her journey in the latter half of 2009 and after gaining some notoriety on their forums (under the old name Obscurus Lupa) she joined the ranks of the Channel Awesome family. At the beginning of 2015, she joined the website when Obscurus Lupa Presents transformed into Movie Nights. There are two podcasts she hosts on her channel. Both focus on the Charmed series, and are hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Also, she appeared. and frequently guest-starred on his TV show Midnight Screenings typically reviewing terrible kids' films or RiffTrax live-streamed shows, in addition to the occasional adult comedy (including of course Baywatch (2017)). She began in late 2009 to review movies, and began to gain a following on forums like the Channel Awesome forums. She then became a part of the network's family of movie critics. Her appearances have included a variety on Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She and Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would frequently appear in episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
